WELCOME TO SEWARD CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE! 

The Seward Church of the Nazarene was the fourth Nazarene church established in Alaska. Located in one of Alaska's most beautiful settings, Our Congregation is warm and inviting welcoming local residents and visitors alike.

We hope that you will enjoy learning more about us. Please feel free to look around the site, better yet come visit us. if you have any questions, we will be happy to talk with you.

Sunday School - at 10:00 a.m we have classes for men, women, youth and children. 

Worship - at 11:00 a.m. we encounter God through corporate worship. Here at Seward Church of the Nazarene, we seek to provide an environment that prepares our hearts to give God our entire focus and self. Our services are filled with inspiring songs of praise, supported by a period of prayer, and a Spirit filled message based on Biblical principles. You will walk out of service ready to live a life fully inspired and empowered.  

Wednesday Night Bible Study - at 7:00 p.m. A small group atmosphere with Bible study and prayer. 

Missions - We support Nazarene Missions International both locally and around the world. Through our giving , service and prayer together we are reaching our world for the Kingdom of Christ. 

The Closet - Is a not-for-profit used children's clothing donation center open from August through May, closed holidays and school breaks. open TUESDAYS 3:00pm - 5:00pm
We have clean and gently used infant, children, teen, young adult & maternity clothing and gear available for small suggested donations. Infant furniture is dependent on availability. Large items are NYOP (Name Your Own Price) and toys are always free.

He Will Provide Food Pantry - Is supported by the area churches and is located in the alley behind the library. It is open Thursday's at 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. You can also drop your donated can food here at the church by placing these items in the cabinet in the foyer. Suggested items:
Pancake mix (Krusteaz-type)
Cold Cereal
Soups & Chili
Ramen (packages better than cups)
Spaghetti (or other pasta; we still have lots of sauce)
Canned Meat & Fish
Canned Vegetables
Sugar
Packets of Salt, Pepper, and Condiments (e.g. Catsup, Mustard)

Friday Night Fire - Happens June - August on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month. Free hot dogs and smores'  a round the campfire at the church. Everyone and all are welcome to join us. 

AA - Meets each day of the week at 7:00 p.m.
